The Centre of Digital Excellence (CODE) is supported by RMIT University Vietnam. CODE will build capability among the Vietnamese education workforce in the primary, secondary and higher education sectors, developing expertise in contemporary approaches to digital learning and teaching in Vietnam.

- Generate scholarships for Vietnamese university staff to undertake studies in this field with RMIT Vietnam
- Promote and support research in this field, ensuring the Centre remains at the forefront of the discipline
The Dimensions of CODE
CODE seeks to initiate, develop and advance practice and research based collaborations and projects in Vietnam and internationally that can be located within one or more of the following three pillars.
A priority on activities that have significant and tangible reach in the community. These may include facilitating wide, remote or free access to information and education via digital platforms, providing training and development opportunities for Vietnamese educators or providing sustainable and affordable support to community development initiatives.
An emphasis on the development and use of platforms that do not exclude groups or individuals from accessing them for socioeconomic reasons. The provision of content in formats and modes that are accessible for individuals with a broad range of learning differences or disabilities.
An orientation toward being exploratory, creative and experimental. Trialing of new platforms and modes of digital engagement in partnership with industry and community. Promoting and supporting research, publication and exhibition in digital excellence.Fostering entrepreneurial and experimental designs and approaches to the use of digital spaces.
